Abstract
To clarify the occurrence dynamics of poplar anthracnose in Yanqing district of Beijing and improve control effectiveness, this study conducted a dynamic survey of poplar anthracnose in Yanqing district and evaluated the antifungal effectiveness of carbendazim, which will provide scientific support for precise control of poplar anthracnose in Yanqing district. This study conducted a dynamic occurrence study of Colletotrichum gloeosporioides penz.in the severely affected areas of Sanlihe Wetland Park and Jiangshuiquan Park in Yanqing District, by using nested PCR amplification and spore capture methods. Additionally, a fungicidal experiment was conducted on C. gloeosporioides with carbendazim to evaluate its fungicidal efficacy. The results showed that C. gloeosporioides could be detected in the plots in early April. The fungicidal experiment indicated that carbendazim used for anthracnose control could effectively inhibit the growth of C. gloeosporioides. Based on the above results, spraying carbendazim for control in early to mid-April was started. The results showed a significant reduction in captured anthracnose spores and a notable improvement in the control of poplar anthracnose. In conclusion, this study established an efficient nested PCR detection system for C. gloeosporioides and enabled early detection and dynamic monitoring of C. gloeosporioides in poplar forests, providing a theoretical basis for the precise control of anthracnose and offering technical support for enhancing urban landscapes and maintaining the health of poplar forests.
